Charter a boat on Ibiza

Ibiza charter is two markets. The summer beach-club circuit (Blue Marlin Cala Jondal, Es Torrent, Es Boldadó) which gets booked out by January, and the off-season exploration of the unspoiled north coast plus day-trips to Formentera. Marina Botafoch and Ibiza Town are the main bases.

Best for

  • Day charter to Formentera (Ses Illetes, Espalmador) — the iconic Ibiza day out
  • Beach-club hopping along the south coast in summer
  • North-coast exploration (Cala Xarraca, Portinatx) off-season
  • Sunset cruises with DJ for parties

Popular routes

  • Marina Botafoch → Espalmador → Ses Illetes (Formentera) — the day-trip classic
  • Ibiza Town → Es Vedrà → Cala d'Hort (sunset)
  • Marina Botafoch → Cala Salada → Cala Saladeta (north-west)
  • Santa Eulària → Cala Llonga → Es Canar (east coast, calm)

Practical notes

Summer rates are 2-3x off-season. Beach-club lunch reservations need to be booked simultaneously with the boat (Es Torrent, Cala Jondal). Marina Botafoch parking limited — most operators run shuttle from Ibiza Town. Fuel surcharge for trips to Formentera (longer crossing). Drone fly-overs of luxury charters happen — choose discretion if that matters.

Where to book

Loved the day on the water?

Most foreign buyers in the Balearics own a boat or charter regularly. The properties with private moorings or marina access are a small slice of the market — we'll surface them.
